3 hospitalized after shooting in southeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — MEDIC says three people were taken to the hospital after a shooting early Sunday morning in southeast Charlotte.

The shooting was reported around 5 a.m. on Monroe Road, near Pinecone Street.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department hasn’t released any information about the shooting yet.

MEDIC didn’t have specific information about the victims’ injuries. It’s not clear if all of the victims were shot, and their current conditions haven’t been released.
