CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Dowd YMCA is wrapping up the first phase of a $34 million project designed to modernize the facility and grow its membership base.
Members will have access to the 52,000-square-foot addition by Monday — or sooner, if the final pieces come together, says Joe Angelon, branch director.
“Were going to open as soon as we’re done,” he says.
He gave a sneak peek of that space on Thursday and put the spotlight on three key improvements. Check it out here.
