MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A 22-year-old man is dead after falling from a Myrtle Beach hotel balcony Saturday evening, officials said, WPDE reported.
Police said they were called to the Ocean Reef Resort around 6 p.m. after reports of someone falling from a balcony.
The victim was identified as Jacob Matthews, according to WPDE.
A photographer with WPDE was at the scene and said investigators were taking photos on the 13th floor of the hotel.
