23-year-old woman with autism found safe, Lincoln County dispatchers say

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Taylor Ann Ware, 23, of Sand Trap Lane, Stanley, was found safe after she was reported missing Wednesday, Lincoln County dispatchers told Channel 9.

A Silver Alert issued for Ware Wednesday night was canceled early Thursday morning.

Ware, who has medical issues, as well as autism, had been last seen around 4 p.m. leaving work at the Harris Teeter on Cross Center Drive in Denver, the sheriff’s office said.

She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall with shoulder-length, brown hair and blue eyes wearing glasses.

Ware also wears glasses.

She was wearing tan pants, a blue polo shirt, black tennis shoes and possibly a pink jacket and glasses.

No further information was released.
