MATTHEWS, N.C. — Matthews police found a missing 20-year-old woman safe on Wednesday.
Jaleika Barnes was last seen Tuesday walking along Matthews Township Parkway near East Independence Boulevard.
Barnes was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and tan Vans shoes.
She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown eyes and short, straight black hair.
Barnes was safely located and will be reunited with family soon, police said.
