CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested two teenagers overnight in connection with a murder last week in east Charlotte.

Detectives arrested 17-year-old Tavone Smith and two 15-year-old suspects.
Police said Eskinder Asefaw was shot Friday afternoon on Wembley Drive. He died the next day.
Smith and the 15-year-old are charged with murder and robbery.
Smith is due in court Tuesday.
Smith and his family were in court the following Tuesday. Family members said they would hire an attorney.
