CHARLOTTE — Two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting was reported at a gas station Monday in north Charlotte.
MEDIC confirmed that two victims were hospitalized after a shooting on N. Tryon Street, near Craighead Road.
Channel 9 crews spotted several Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers collecting evidence at a gas station near that intersection just before 1:30 p.m.

Police said the victims are expected to survive.
CMPD hasn’t said if a suspect is in custody for the shooting.
It’s not clear what led to the shooting at this time.
