CHARLOTTE — Two juveniles were seriously hurt in a shooting in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
It happened Monday around 7:15 p.m. on Seigle Point Drive, a residential area near the intersection of 10th and 12th streets.

MEDIC said they took the two minors to the hospital with serious injuries. CMPD said Tuesday that their injuries were non-life-threatening.
Police said the suspect is also a juvenile. They were arrested and have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony conspiracy, and misdemeanor damage to property.
It’s not clear what led up to the shooting.
