CHARLOTTE — Two people were seriously hurt in an overnight shooting outside a bar near South End in Charlotte on Thursday, MEDIC says.
The shooting happened after 1 a.m. on West Carson Street between South Mint Street and South Church Street near the Fire House Bar and Lounge.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police investigators were still on scene after 5 a.m., according to a Channel 9 crew on scene.
MEDIC said it took two people to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Channel 9 is asking CMPD for more information on the shooting and if a suspect is in custody.
