CHARLOTTE — Two people have been injured following a shooting in west Charlotte early Monday morning, according to MEDIC.
The incident occurred just after midnight on Mayfair Avenue near Wilkinson Boulevard.

MEDIC said two people were transported with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
