CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two brothers, Mario and Darwin Irias, who were youth ministers at the Tabernaculo de Vida have been charged with molesting young girls as far back as 2011.
Police began investigating in August when two sisters told social workers they'd been sexually assaulted when they were as young as 5 and 6 years old.
Detectives learned about another possible victim who told them she had dated Mario Irias for two or three years when she was only 11-13-years-old," according to a police affidavit.
That victim said the relationship included having sex.
In the video at the top of this webpage, reporter Mark Becker talked with neighbors and family members of the accused.
