CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it is investigating two robberies in south Charlotte that could be related.

According to CMPD, the first robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Archdale Drive, and the victim was not injured.
Officers said the second robbery occurred about an hour later in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Lakemist Drive, which is about one mile from the first incident. CMPD told Channel 9 the victim was hit in the face with a gun, but he is expected to be OK.
In both cases, the victims were robbed by three armed men.
No arrests have been made.
