19-year-old woman, 3 juveniles accused of robbery during Facebook Marketplace exchange

CHARLOTTE — A 19-year-old woman and three juvenile boys are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint Sunday while meeting during a Facebook Marketplace exchange, CMPD said Wednesday in a news release.

The victim, who was trying to buy something from Facebook Marketplace, met the suspects at about 10:45 p.m. at 8301 Parkland Circle off East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

One of the suspects held up the victim and they all fled on foot.

Officers, who knew an attempted robbery was going to happen the next day, tried to catch the same suspects in the act.

This time, the suspects fled on foot, got into a Toyota and were apprehended shortly following a traffic stop.

A resident of an apartment complex told officers one of the suspects dropped a gun while he was running.

Destinee Little was arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

The three juvenile suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

One juvenile was also charged with possession of a stolen firearm.
