CHARLOTTE — A 15-year-old was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. A 13-year-old was charged with murder in the same case on Monday.
Both teens are accused of murder in connection with a deadly shooting that happened on Oct. 7 on Baltimore Avenue in south Charlotte.
Maurice Moore, 30, died at a hospital after being shot, police said.
Both teens are in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. They’ve each been charged with first-degree murder.
Police have not shared a motive for the shooting or said what led up to it.
Due to their ages, neither teen’s identities have been released.
