1-year-old rushed to hospital with burns after falling into fire pit

A 1-year-old boy from Iredell County was rushed to the hospital with burns Friday.

The child fell into a trash pile, a neighbor told Channel 9's Dave Faherty.

The neighbor said the child was badly burned on the face.

An eyewitness told Faherty the family had been burning trash.
