GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia police are asking for the public’s help months after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a Gastonia church in January.

Police said a woman was leaving a meeting at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Davis Park Road when someone walked up to her and fired two shots.
The victim was hit and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Her family and Gaston County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $2,500 for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
