CHARLOTTE — One person was shot Thursday afternoon at a Wendy’s in east Charlotte.
The shooting victim had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Chopper 9 was over the Wendy’s at the intersection of Eastway Drive and Central Avenue.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department had the parking lot of the fast food restaurant cordoned with crime scene tape.
No additional details have been made available.
