CHARLOTTE — A person has been seriously hurt following a shooting in west Charlotte Wednesday morning, according to MEDIC.
The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Columbus Circle near Freedom Drive.
MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
