CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a man was shot Saturday.
Police said they responded to the 6300 block of Burmith Avenue near the intersection of Statesville Road.
Upon arrival, police said they located the victim, who had been shot once.
MEDIC said the patient was transported to Carolina's Medical Center-Main with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the man shot who was shot was initially robbed at gunpoint by an unknown person as he was walking in the area.
Police are searching for a male wearing camouflage shorts, black shirt and black shoes.
