IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A person was killed Wednesday night in a single-vehicle wreck in Iredell County, emergency officials confirmed with Channel 9.

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Chief Thomas Road, which is northeast of Statesville.
