GASTIONA, N.C. — A person has died following a single-vehicle crash Friday morning, according to Gaston Emergency Medical Services.
It occurred just after 9:30 a.m. on North New Hope Road and East Franklin Boulevard.
GEMS said the victim died at the scene.
An initial investigation revealed that the vehicle ran into a pole, according to GEMS.
