CHARLOTTE — Police have arrested a man accused of shooting two people at a west Charlotte business, leaving one of them dead.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have charged 29-year-old Hubert Wilkinson with murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflict serious injury.
At the end of June, officers responded to a business on Tuckaseegee Road where they found two people shot inside.

Police said 44-year-old Lawrence Crank died at the scene. Another victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
During the course of the investigation, Wilkinson was named a suspect. CMPD’s Violent Crime Apprehension Team arrested him on Friday.
