ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — A deputy was involved in a shooting that turned deadly Friday morning in Anson County, officials said.
The deputy was responding to a domestic call just after 11 a.m. when the shooting happened.
The deputy is OK, according to officials. The man who was shot, Kim Lee Long, died over the weekend, according to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

The deputy shot Long around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Standback Ferry Road near Iceplant Road in Wadesboro.
The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the shooting.
