CHARLOTTE — A person has been seriously hurt following a shooting in west Charlotte Monday night, according to MEDIC.
It occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on the 4400 block of Connelly Circle.

MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
