1 hurt in north Charlotte shooting, paramedics say

CHARLOTTE — One person was seriously hurt in a shooting in north Charlotte on Saturday morning, according to paramedics.

MEDIC responded to Brownestone View Drive for a gunshot victim around 10:30 a.m. A person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is currently unknown what led up to the shooting.

A Channel 9 crew at the scene could see police cars at a house near the shooting shortly after it occurred.
