CHARLOTTE — One person has been injured following a shooting in east Charlotte Friday night, according to MEDIC.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Central Avenue in the Winterfield neighborhood.
MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
It is unclear what led up to this shooting.
