CHARLOTTE — A shooting in west Charlotte early Tuesday morning left one person seriously hurt, MEDIC confirmed.
The shooting was reported on Little Rock Road, near Queen City Drive, around 7 a.m. MEDIC said one victim was taken to the hospital.
Around the same time as that shooting on Little Rock Road, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department was spotted investigating another shooting at an Exxon down the road on Queen City Drive.
A witness at Queen City Drive said she heard about five gunshots at about 6:50 a.m.
CMPD told Channel 9 that officers responded to “two different assault with a deadly weapon calls for service” and that both cases are under investigation.
We’re working on getting more details about what led up to the shootings and if police are looking for a suspect.
