CMPD: 2 victims showed up at hospital after triple shooting in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said two victims showed up at local hospitals after a triple shooting Monday evening in west Charlotte.

The shooting happened just after 5 p.m. on West Boulevard near Remount Road.

When officers got to the scene, they said they found one person who had been shot. The victim was taken to Atrium CMC with serious injuries.

A short time later, officers said they found out that another person had been hurt in the shooting and drove themselves to a hospital.

Police said about 45 minutes after the first call, a third victim showed up at the hospital saying they had been shot on West Boulevard.

All three victims are expected to be OK. No names have been released.

West Boulevard was shut down as police investigated the scene.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 704-334-1600, provide information, remain anonymous, and earn up to $2000 for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution of the suspects in the case.
