LAKE NORMAN, N.C. — One person died Tuesday morning in a boating incident involving a ski boat on Lake Norman, officials with North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission confirmed.

Emergency crews were dispatched to a cardiac/respiratory arrest incident at the Hager Creek access area.
Personnel found the person and tried to save their life.
The person died at the scene.
N.C. Wildlife is in charge of the investigation.
