CHARLOTTE — A 61-year-old man was killed in a shooting in north Charlotte late Wednesday night, according to MEDIC.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened around 10 p.m. on Catalina Avenue, and involved someone coming home and finding their roommate shot on the floor.

MEDIC said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
CMPD identified the victim on Thursday as Loren Garnet Dudely.
