CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is dead after an overnight crash on Interstate 485 in south Charlotte.
Troopers said the wreck happened just before 3 a.m. on the inner loop of I-485 near South Boulevard.
The inner loop was shut down for hours but reopened before 5 a.m.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol was investigating the crash but has not released any names or details.
