CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Chester County Thursday night.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on S.C. 72 near Saluda road, just seven miles north of Chester.
Authorities said a motorcyclist of a Harley Davidson traveled off the road and into a ditch. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. An identity has not been provided.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
