CROUSE, N.C. — A man has died after a two-car crash in Lincoln County on Monday afternoon, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
David Joseph McCurry, 56, was driving north on Saint Marks Church Road around 1:45 p.m. when he was struck by a Ford truck after failing to stop at a stop sign, troopers said. Investigators said McCurry was not restrained by a seatbelt.

The other driver only suffered minor injuries.
The investigation does not indicate impairment as a factor in the crash. Charges will not be filed.
