CHARLOTTE — One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a crash in west Charlotte overnight Thursday.
Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened on Donald Ross Road between Wilkinson and West Boulevards around 1:30 a.m.
Nearly an hour later, our Channel 9 photographer at the scene could still see police blocking the road.
We’re asking CMPD what caused the crash and if anyone will face charges.
