Officials said Susan Westwood pleaded guilty to misuse of the 911 system and two counts of simple assault. She was given 12 months of probation Wednesday and was ordered to pay court costs.
Channel 9 first reported on Westwood, known as “SouthPark Susan,” in October when video of her harassing two women in the parking lot of a south Charlotte apartment complex parking lot went viral.
In the video, Westwood can be seen approaching sisters Leisa Garris and Mary Garris while they were waiting for AAA to jump their car.
According to officials, Westwood called 911 and falsely claimed that people near her home were attempting to break into nearby residences.
In the 911 calls, Westwood can be heard saying, "They are actually people that I've never seen here before, but they are African American."
