UNION GROVE, N.C. — A suspect accused of killing a man in Iredell County early Monday morning has been taken into custody after an hours-long manhunt, officials confirmed.
Officials said they got a call just after 5:30 a.m. about someone needing help on Indian Hill Road in Union Grove.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office told Channel 9 that when deputies got to the house, they found Robert Quinn, 44, dead in the driveway.
Authorities said they were looking for 23-year-old Pierson Colbert, who is considered a suspect in the case.

Deputies warned other law enforcement agencies and the public to look out for Colbert.
Colbert was taken into custody Monday afternoon in Yadkin County after a traffic stop, the Iredell County sheriff confirmed. Investigators said he was in a stolen truck.
Channel 9 talked to a neighbor who said Colbert lives in a house nearby. He said Colbert, for some reason, murdered his next-door neighbor, but deputies have not confirmed that information.
