HORRY COUNTY, S.C.,None — A woman from Lancaster County died Saturday morning from injuries she suffered in a three-vehicle accident in Conway, police said.
The driver of a pickup truck was traveling north on U.S. 501 when it reportedly crossed the median near Singleton Ridge Road and struck an SUV in the southbound lane.
The truck also hit another car before coming to a stop.
The driver of the SUV, Deanna Plyler, 41, from Heath Springs, was killed in the crash. Police said Plyler was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Two passengers in the SUV and the driver of the truck were transported to the hospital, according to highway patrol.
Police said this is the sixth fatal accident on Horry County roadways in the last two weeks.
