CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — A 16-year-old girl is accused of tying up and robbing a pizza delivery man in east Charlotte Wednesday night.
Officers arrested Brittany Iris Carter early Thursday
Police said Carter and two others lured the pizza delivery man to an abandoned trailer off Harrisburg Road, and when he got there they were waiting with a gun.
"They forced him into the trailer at gunpoint, and he's tied up and robbed of money belonging to the business," said Charlotte Mecklenburg police Sgt. Brian Schraf.
Police said the delivery man managed to get free and go to a nearby house to call police.
Police said they are investigating whether they can connect Carter and the two other suspects to another pizza delivery driver robbery that happened on Tuesday night in the area.
