CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — There's a lot going on in the Charlotte region's film industry. This weekend, two feature films will have casting calls.
The first one is for "Artemis," which is looking for thousands of extras with a special need for children in the age of 12 and 18.
The casting call will be held at the Cleveland Mall in Shelby on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then Carolina Mall in Concord on Sunday, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. For more on this casting call, visit charlotteusa.com.
The second casting call this weekend is for 13 – 18-year-old boys who look exactly like Adam Sandler and want to play him in his R-rated movie "I Hate You Dad" that will began production in June.
