CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Albemarle Road Elementary School was placed under lockdown at about 3 p.m. Tuesday due to police activity in the area.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said officers had a hit nearby from a license plate reader, which prompted the police presence.
