The Tony Award-winning Broadway sensation, The Lion King, makes its long-awaited return to Belk Theater for a limited four week engagement, August 6 through September 1. Having already played more than 70 cities across North America, the musical returns to Charlotte following sold-out engagements in 2003 and 2007. The North American touring productions of Disney's The Lion King have been seen by more than 14 million theatergoers and grossed over $983 million to date.
The show offers breathtaking visuals and an unforgettable score including "Circle of Life" and the Oscar-winning song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight."
