The hearse that carried Dale Earnhardt Sr. to his final resting place is up for auction on eBay.

On Feb. 21, 2001, a 1996 Lincoln Town Car hearse took the Intimidator from his funeral to his final resting place in Huntersville.

It can be yours for a mere $1.5 million … yes, that is right $1.5 MILLION.

The eBay listing states that the car has 115,679 miles and "was the last ride of Dale Earnhardt Sr."

The auction ends Tuesday and so far there are no bids … shocking. The seller, chmark1968, has a zero rating on eBay, with no previous sales.

According to Jalopnik.com, the original owner, Bill McKeithan, put the car up for sale on Craigslist while watching the Daytona 500 a couple weeks ago as a tribute to the 10th anniversary of Earnhardt's death.

The car sold within seven hours for $8,800.

The new owner put it up on eBay this week with a slight markup.

Earnhardt died in a last-lap crash during the 2001 Daytona 500. He was inducted into the inaugural class of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2010.

UPDATE: As of 11 a.m. Thursday, the auction has been removed by eBay.
