CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds is looking to fill more than 500 positions for its SCarowinds Halloween Haunt event.
Since it began in 2000, SCarowinds continues to grow larger each season. With the addition of a new maze this fall, more employment opportunities are available for actors interested in performance roles. The SCarowinds team is also looking to hire people as costumers and make-up artists.
SCarowinds takes place on select dates from Sept. 14 through Oct. 28.
Auditions for performance roles and interviews for non-performance positions will be held on Thursdays and Sundays from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Carowinds Employment Office.
All applicants should apply online prior to their audition at www.carowinds.com. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. Acting experience is not necessary for the performance roles, but previous experience is preferred for the costumer and make-up artist positions.
