FORT MYERS, Fla. — Two people, age 12 and 18, were killed and 18 hurt in a shooting early Monday outside a nightclub in Fort Myers, Florida, according to police and multiple reports.
Police were called around 12:30 a.m. after multiple people were shot at Club Blu, according to police. Injuries ranged from minor to life threatening.
"We are deeply saddened by the shootings that took place in the City of Fort Myers early this morning," said Mayor Randall P. Henderson Jr. in a statement. "Investigators are working very hard to determine a motive and find answers to questions. Our thoughts are foremost with the victims -- Sean Archilles, age 14, and Stef'an Stawder, age 18 00 and their families."
