Jim Noble’s Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack and Harriet’s Hamburgers will open side-by-side restaurants next year in Concord.
The chef-driven brands plan a joint location with stand-alone restaurants at 3070 Derita Road, close to Concord Mills and with easy access to Interstate 85 and Interstate 485.
Bossy Beulah’s will build a 2,400-square-foot restaurant, while Harriet’s will occupy a 1,800-square-foot space. They will share patio space and parking.
The density of the area combined with available land for new construction made the site ideal for a joint location, says Noble, owner of Noble Food & Pursuits, which is behind the Bossy Beulah’s brand.
“We wanted to be able to build both restaurants from the ground up so that we could show our attention to detail, craftsmanship and customer experience,” he says.
