MOORESVILLE, N.C.,None — Three people face charges after heroin was found in a Mooresville home, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies searched a home on White Pine Road in Mooresville on Monday after an investigation into the distribution of heroin in the area, the Sheriff's Office said. The investigation began when the Narcotics Unit received information that someone at the home was selling bags of heroin, officials said.
During the search, detectives said they found several small bags of heroin that appeared to be packaged for sale, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Rachel Carmen Withers, 26; Cyrus Keith Wooten, 26; and John Manuel Upright, 49.
Withers and Wooten were each charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin, felony possession of heroin and felony maintaining a dwelling. Upright was charged with possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling.
