CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The South End Wine Festival returns Saturday for four hours of tastings, food trucks and live music.
In addition to wine, there will also be beer and cider tastings.

The event happens from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 308 West Carson Blvd. in Charlotte.
Proceeds from the festival benefit Classroom Central, an organization that provides free school supplies to students and teachers in high poverty schools.
The event is open to adults age 21 and older.

Early admission tickets cost $50 with entry beginning at 1 p.m. Unlimited wine tastings and a free souvenir sampling glass is included.
General admission tickets cost $40 and also include unlimited wine tastings and a souvenir sampling glass.
Designated driver tickets are available for $20 and include a souvenir sports bottle; free water filling stations will be available.
