In addition, two craft brews have been made just for this event and will only be available aboard the train ride.
As part of the train ride ticket, passengers will receive sample tastings of these two specialty brews. Seaboard Brewing Company from Matthews will serve up the “Silver Meteor” IPA and Commoners Brewing Co. will serve “Spike Driver’s Delight,” a cream-style ale.
Admission plus the onsite train ride will be offered in two seating classes. Coach seating, which includes a souvenir tasting glass, salty snack, and craft brew samples costs $12 for adults 21 and older and $10 for those under 21.
Table seating, which includes a souvenir tasting glass and light appetizers costs $15 for adults 21 and older and $13 for those under 21.
Train riders under age 21 will receive Cheerwine in a souvenir logo cup instead of the beer samples.
Train ride tickets usually sell out, so buying those in advance is recommended.
