CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mötley Crüe’s big return to the stage just got postponed by a year.

The band, who had retired in 2015, was set to make a comeback co-headlining a stadium tour with British rockers Def Leppard this summer. The tour was scheduled to make a stop at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium on July 11.
Earlier this month, the band announced on its Facebook page that the tour was being postponed until 2021. On Thursday, the rescheduled dates were posted.
The new date for the Charlotte show is June 24, 2021.
According to the post, previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. If you can’t make the new date, you can request a refund. Ticketmaster will email ticket holders directly with details. You can also visit livenation.com/refund for more information.
Other shows scheduled for Bank of America Stadium impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic include Billy Joel, who rescheduled his April concert to 2021 and Garth Brooks, who rescheduled his May concert to October. The Rolling Stones, who were scheduled to perform at the stadium in July, have postponed their summer tour.
