ASHEVILLE, N.C. — It’s one of the grandest holiday displays in the Carolinas and this year, Christmas at Biltmore will offer even more than ever before.

A yuletide feast for the senses featuring traditional holiday decor and dazzling lights, you can see the estate's annual holiday celebration now through Jan. 5, 2020.

In addition, on Nov. 8, the estate will welcome “Downton Abbey: The Exhibition,” a traveling exposition dedicated to the popular television series and new feature film.

The exhibition features a display of costumes, props, jewelry, set recreations, videos and virtual characters from the show.

Christmas at Biltmore will feature more than 50 hand-decorated Christmas trees, miles of ribbon and garland and thousands of lights. A 35-foot Fraser fir in the Banquet Hall is the home’s holiday centerpiece.

For the first time, hand-decorated Christmas trees will be displayed on the balcony that wraps around the home’s two-story Library.

Another must-see is Candlelight Christmas Evenings, when Biltmore House glows with candlelight and firelight and a constellation of holiday lights illuminate Antler Hill Village & Winery and the Village Green.
